Asymmetrical black dyed poplar wood borders the soft red velvety fabric. Built for a queen sized bed. This is one of my first projects and favorite one.
Twenty one identical layers offset from one another are made of oak veneer over top of bending board giving the hill and valley shape. The oak is finished in a dark stain with light distressing and the salvaged mirror is distressed too.
